New members are always welcome!

 

Never sung in a choir before?  That's okay!  Many of our members did not have previous choir experience before they joined us.

 

Nervous?  That's okay too!  Something new and exciting can make nervousness appear but we are a welcoming and helpful group.  Take a chance... you won't be sorry!

 

Not sure if you're a soprano, alto, tenor or bass?  We will help you figure it out!

Don't read music?  Sure, it helps but it's not essential!  You will learn so much from our director, Krista Bell and our accompanist Yuki Okumoto Stocovaz, as well as fellow choir and section members... you will do great!  (Just bring a pencil to each rehearsal!)

 

There are no auditions and everyone Aged 16 and above is welcome!  Our first rehearsal for our next session will be on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 .  Please arrive between 6:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. so that you can collect your music, sign in and find out what section you're in and where you'll be sitting.  We will match you up with a veteran choir member in your section who will be happy to guide you and answer any questions you may have.

 

There is a membership fee of $55/session to be paid before the third rehearsal.  We have rehearsals every Wednesday leading up to the concerts and a few Sundays as well as we get closer to performance time.  Once you arrive and get registered, you will receive a calendar of all rehearsal dates and times.  Remember to sign in at every rehearsal. If you are not feeling well we ask that you stay away from practice that evening.
